Christmas in Sweden and Swedish Pepparkakor

If I was to choose a season that Sweden is in its best, than it would definitely be during Christmas. This time of the year, we enjoy the most beautiful house decorations, the most delicious breakfasts and the most amazing outdoor activities. Christmas time requires a lot of cooking as well. There is no Swedish Christmas without Swedish Pepparkakor, of course!

Here, you may find one of my favorite recipes for Swedish Pepparkakor and other Swedish Christmas delights!

It's all about Pepparkakor this time of year in Sweden! Toddlers dressing up as pepparkakor for the christmas parties at day care.. A swedish stamp featuring Pippi baking pepparkakor..

Kids cooking best Easter Dino Cookies plus Recipe!

We had a lot of fun today making some really nice easter cookies, which were actually dino cookies, but based on a totally easter recipe! Try it and enjoy!

Ingredients:
3 eggs
150g butter
300g sugar (about 1 3/4 cups)
750g flour (about 6 cups)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup milk (warmed up)
vanilla essence

Seperate the egg whites to make meringue. Mix the butter with the sugar, then add the egg yolk,
the meringue and the milk (where you've already added the baking powder and soda). Add vanilla.
Add the flour in the end.
Cook in pre-heated oven at 180oC for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
Good luck and Happy Easter!
