Three basic rules when choosing books for preschool kids - Τρεις βασικοί κανόνες στην επιλογή βιβλίου για παιδιά

Many parents ask me what kind of books are best to read to their kid. When choosing a book for a preschool child, three basic rules apply:
  1. Young children enjoy simple text with word repetition, colorful pictures and rhymes.
  2.
  3. Book context that they can easily and happily relate to, from Peter Pan to dinosaurs.
  4.
  5. Kids up to two years old enjoy looking at a picture of one object per page, while older children prefer books that tell a story. The story gets more complicated with age.
